I'm just going to start catching up in random order, so try not to panic....
We spent the morning with cousins at Thanksgiving Point Gardens. I was impressed with the size of the place and all the different types of gardens they had created there. We decided that it's probably one of the best places for taking pictures. I'm sure people who are local take their senior and wedding pictures here all the time; there's just not really a bad view no matter which direction the camera is pointed.
On the bridge in the "Monet Garden"....
In the "Rose Garden".....
We met up with my sister JoAnna, her three kids, and my parents.
We found a new "friend" (who thankfully did NOT come home with us:
The kids discovered the "Secret Garden":
Julia feeding the Koi with Joplin and Jovie:
Julia didn't have and change to make a "wish" at the fountain, so she cleverly invented making a wish with a leaf - how organic of her ;) .....
This is called the "Stairway to Heaven":
(However, when it's 90 degrees outside at noon, it's questionable as to where this staircase actually leads.)
Julia and the girls found tunnels to play inside when we found the "Children's Garden":
All the cousins gathered together for a photo. Too bad we didn't have a better backdrop.
Julia holding Jude, Joplin, Jourdan and Jovie:
Jonathan and Jourdan found these cool waterfalls while the girls were playing....they took us back afterward to see them.
It was a really pretty place. What made it even more enjoyable was the fact that it was $2 Tuesday. What would have usually cost us nearly $40, was only $8 for our family today....yay!

How fun. Great pictures. My dad has been suggesting we go there for years! I'm going to have to make it happen some time. :)
