Eagle Project Part 1 - Bench Build

Jourdan began the first phase of his Eagle Scout Project with a "bench build".  He organized a group of men from church to help him put together all seven of the benches that will be installed on Saturday at  Currie Youth Camp.  Twelve volunteers helped to get all the benches together in 3 hours.  Thanks to everyone who helped Jourdan with this portion of the project!  Special thanks to Jens for the use of his woodworking shop!

Now, if we can all just pray that the rain forecasted for Saturday will arrive on Sunday instead.....that would be great.  Seriously, remember Jourdan and his project in your prayers!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Very cool. (I have never seen Jens' shop, and that is like my husband's dream come true. That plus time to DO STUFF in it.) I hope Saturday works out for Jourdan... :)

Okay, so I know the rain did't exactly hold off for you, but he did a wonderful job and it got done. Congratulations! That's a huge project for someone Jourdan's age to plan and carry out...okay, it's HUGE for anyone of any age. He should be proud...and you should be glad to be done. :)
