"Oklahoma"

Finally!  My blog is "speaking" to my youtube channel again.  So, now I'm behind. 

 

Here's the big musical number from Oklahoma (also the name of the song).  It was really about 1000 times better to be there in person with all 50-ish voices singing in harmony.  The video's sound doesn't do the show justice, but you'll get the idea.  Jourdan is wearing a white dress shirt, dark jeans, straw hat, and bolo tie for this number.  When the group "clumps" together for the immediate reprise, he's in the near-front on the right (just behind his friend Zac). 

 

It cracked me up every night how the majority of the audience thought this was the final number in the show.  I felt like shouting, "Wait,  I know we already sang 'Poor Jud is Daid', but Jud still has to actually DIE.'  So, just sit down and relax for another 15 minutes!"

 

We are still enjoying watching the videos and singing all the songs.  We can't wait to find out what next season will bring.  Of course, it will be very different for Jourdan as his buddies head off to college.
