Just in time for Christmas, Jourdan got a few new "decorations" (awards). At school he got a Bronze Award for having a 4.0 GPA during his first trimester. It took a lot of work on Jourdan's part to do so well, especially since he's in EXCEL classes. Envision a lot of late nights, weekends, and Mom helping with busy work (like coloring and typing) and you'll have a good idea of how hard he worked. We are all proud of all his efforts and glad he was recognized along with a few of his friends from church.
At scouts, Jourdan earned his Second and First Class rank advencements. He really earned them a couple of months ago, but they only have Courts of Honor quarterly. He also earned three new merit badges: Personal Fitness, Home Repairs, and Salesmanship. He really works hard on scouts too (when he's not doing homework)!

Good for him!! That is awesome. We keep hoping that when we tell Preston where Jourdan is at scouts (his rank) that it will motivate Preston. ...No luck. Way to go, Jourdan!
