Julia's Belated Birthday

Due to cookie sales, Julia had to wait almost a month to have her birthday celebration.  What's even sadder than that - the fact that SHE did all the planning, invitations, decorations, treat bags for friends, and home-made thank you notes.  I say "sad" because I feel a little guilty, but she really did do a great job.

She had 7 friends come over for pizza, a movie, and ice cream sundaes.  The kids were really giggly and talkative, so I don't know how may of them actually watched "Nanny McPhee Returns" (I know I didn't see/hear more than a few minutes!)

Yep, that's pretty much all the pictures we took.  She had a great time, but was sad that a few friends didn't make it.  The party was loud enough, at times, that I wasn't too disappointed about the smaller numbers this year.   I can't believe she's already 10!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JULIA!!!!!! Belinda (as she probably already told you) was so excited to get your invitation and she really wanted to come! Those darn 2,700 miles!!

(I think it's great that Julia planned the whole thing. Sounds like what Belinda is ready for! I think we'll be doing the same thing this year. We kind of did that last year.)

Happy Belated Birthday, Julia! Looks like it was celebrated in style. And, since you planned and organized the whole things by yourself, you know it was EXACTLY what you wanted and the way you wanted it. Very cool.
