Or crazy camping! I just don't get the excitement in this sort of outdoor activity. Jourdan had a blast camping with his scout troop in their home-made snow caves over the weekend, but you couldn't pay me to do that. While I am not a huge fan of the heat, I am also not a big fan on being frozen.
Behind Jourdan and his friend...you can see another scout peering out of the cave. Here's the inside.
They said it was big enough to fit all scouts and their two adult leaders. They made two caves, one for the leaders, and one for the boys. Jourdan came home soaked (as usual) but had a great time (also, as usual).

BRRRRR! I remember when my brother's did this. Crazy! Although, it's probably a good thing to know how to do. Or something like that. He has such a great attitude about this sort of thing. Awesome!
I want to say, "That's so cool" and "Looks like fun," but I just can't. It looks AWFUL! I can't imagine a worse way to spend a night. BUT. I am glad that HE had a good time. And there is a special place in heaven for scout leaders, this I know.
I am so glad I'm not a Young Men's leader!
Yuck I agree I can't take being in the house with out my slippers on let alone sleep outside however 3 of my 4 boys have done it and loved it who knew?
