Just when you think there couldn't possibly be more choir concerts....there's one more! Jourdan's high school choir had a concert called "Sounds of the Season" tonight. His group, Thunder Men's Chorus, performed 4 songs. (*If you have trouble finding Jourdan in the video, look for the kid with the red hair, Jourdan's head is right above his!)
"Hi Ho The Holly"
"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"
"African Noel"
If that last one sounded familiar, you've been paying attention....Jourdan's Jazz Choir sang that same number last year with a slight variation in the arrangement.
"Little St. Nick"
"Carol of the Bells"
Brace yourself for even more concert "excitement". Jourdan has been asked to sing with the Sound Celebration Concert Choir which is a more advanced group. They meet before school every day . So this will involve him switching from early morning seminary to early, early morning seminary (yes, there is such a thing). The new class meets at 5:25, so you can imagine that we'll all be getting a new schedule in January. As much as this is a sacrifice of our sleep, we're proud of Jourdan for getting into this group, which is, as a rule, not open to Freshmen. He'll be the only Freshmen in the choir.

Way to go Jourdan for your beautiful voice and dedication to Seminary. Love you!
Wow!!! Great music. I know it's exhausting for him to be involved in so much stuff, but it's all so good!!! Coming from a parent of people who don't really like being involved in much, it's a fun thing to see!
