Oneonta Gorge Revisited

Aunt Maile came for a visit this weekend.  It's been nine years and a couple of months since she was last here with us.  We took her up the Columbia River Gorge to visit some of the water falls including the one we took the kids to a few weeks ago.  The water was probably just as cold today as it was then, but the air temperatures were warmer today which made it much more pleasant.

The view from Vista House at Crown Point.

The bottom fall at Latourell Falls.

Jonathan and his sister Maile tackle the log jam at Oneonta Falls.

It gets just a little deeper than this (above) and it's icy cold, but worth it.

Maile, Jonathan, and I as we exit the gorge.

It wouldn't be a trip to the gorge without a stop at Multmonah Falls.

That all looks like fun. I sure miss the Gorge. Glad you got to have an "excuse" to go again. Hope you had a great time with Maile.
