Well, school's been out just over two weeks.... and we've been so busy it feels like we've been out for months. I meant to finish up with the concert posts before now, but I haven't got around to it. Anyway, here's a couple more selections from Jourdan's final concert this year. Then I can move on to other events.
Red and Black from Les Miserables:
The reaction after Jourdan's small solo is a little unnerving. He claims that all the squeals were due to his standing on a chair.... I don't buy it. All his friends had solos in this number. The second solo voice belongs to his red-headed friend Mason. The third voice belongs to Zac, his duet buddy. The 5th is his friend JoJo (the other Jordan). Sorry about the bad video, I didn't know the boys would be coming from behind the audience.
Omnia Sol:
I am convinced that I've heard this song/tune before, but I can't place it. The first time I heard the choir sing this song, it sounded familiar... If you've heard it somewhere and can think of why it's familiar, help me out.
Build Me Up Buttercup:
And again, you'd think I would learn not to be surprised by an advancement from the rear! This time, the camera was on a tri-pod because I knew the concert was going to be long.... so turning it around was more of a hassle. I love how the microphone really picked up on one of the alto voices more than anyone else's voice - oh well. (Jourdan walks by the camera at 35 seconds.)

Yeah, you're right. It's NOT because he's standing up on the chair!! Somebody likes Jourdan. :)
Great choir. And he has such a great voice.
